Beyth/Ayin

בעה ∙ בעטThe Hollow Eye and the Kicking Baby – One Womb, One Storyב = beyt = house / womb

ע = ayin = eye / hollow / spring / the furrow of longing and weeping

ה / ט = he (breath/window) or tet (coiled snake / basket / curled baby)Together they tell the exact same pregnancy from two consecutive moments:בעה (bāʿāh) – The Empty Womb That BegsPicture:

The womb/house (ב) has a hollow eye in its centre (ע) – an empty, aching spring that squints with desire, worry, or weeping.

It seeks (בָּעָה), it beseeches with burning longing, it cries “See me! Fill this hollow!”Ps 24:6 – דּוֹר דֹּרְשָׁיו מְבַקְשֵׁי פָנֶיךָ = “the generation of those who seek Him”

(literally the hollow-eyed ones who בֹּעֲיוֹ – “beseech” His face)

The barren womb of Hannah, Rachel, Sarah – the ayin furrows between the eyes in silent, desperate prayer.

בעט (bāʿaṭ) – The Once-Empty Womb That Now KicksPicture:

The same hollow eye (ע) inside the womb (ב) is finally filled.

A tiny coiled baby (ט = tet, the curled snake/basket) now lives inside that hollow…

and kicks (וַיִּבְעַט) – pushes, rebels, or dances for joy.Deut 32:15 – Jeshurun grew fat וַיִּבְעַט

(the womb that was once empty and begging is now so full the child kicks back – sometimes in gratitude, sometimes in rebellion)

One womb.

One hollow eye.

Two verses apart in the life of every pregnancy:First the empty ache – בעה

Then the kicking life – בעט

Or, when the longing is twisted, the hollow eye seeks the wrong filling and the womb ends up swollen yet poisoned (בס).Copy-paste ready:בעה ∙ בעט

The hollow womb begs (בעה)

The filled womb kicks (בעט)

Same womb. Same eye. Same story.

Only what enters the hollow decides whether the kick is joy… or judgment.
