Beyth/Heh deep breath

BEYTH/HEH

CHEST CAVITY

BREATH

I stood astonished בָּהָה at the evening sky,

for the morning sun had burst forth בָּהָא —

refreshed, radiant, its face shining בֹּהַר like a new day. My tongue swelled בָּהַג; words failed me,

yet all morning it blazed like polished marble and onyx בַּהַט. But now — why does the sun turn orange,

as though a leprous spot בָּהָק were spreading across its face,

warning every watcher that death draws near? Suddenly the breath is ripped away;

it sinks empty and void בֹּהוּ

into the womb of night.Seven roots.

One day.

One dying sun.

בָּהָה • בָּהָא • בֹּהַר • בָּהַג • בַּהַט • בָּהָק • בֹּהוּ
