Zayin is the instrument used to cut loose that which flows either upward or downward.
זלה (shadow) is transient — it flows away when light strikes.
אזל is the active release: the shadow is cut loose by the א force.
Without א, זל is just potential flow. With א, it departs.

זל = root of departure
Yeshua activates the cut: He is the Aleph force releasing Himself upward.

עז = goat (wild, untamed)
אזל = sent away into uninhabited land
Like Yeshua: Cut loose from the camp
Disappears where no mortal can follow

אזן – The Aleph Scatters the Seed of Revelationאזן = א (active doer) + ז (scatter) + ן (seed/life) Aleph adds the man who acts. Zayin scatters the ן seed.
He reached in with his right hand, took a handful, and with a sharp, practiced cutting/flicking motion of the wrist (exactly the motion of the זַיִן = weapon/sickle) he flung the seed outward in a wide arc.
The same hand-motion used to swing a sickle in harvest was reversed and used to fling the seed at sowing time.
The revealing is not in the scattering moment.
The scattering moment is pure זַיִן: the sharp blade of separation, the wrist-flick that hides the seed under soil and darkness.The Aleph’s desire to reveal is frustrated at the instant of אזן.
The seeds disappear.
They are buried.
They look lost.But the Aleph never actually lets go.That is why the same three letters, read forward and backward, tell the whole redemption story:אזן → scattering, hiding, burial
ןזא → the seeds (ן) that were cut loose by the זַיִן are finally gathered back to the Aleph
→ נֶאֱזָן = “he was weighed / balanced / revealed in the scales”

ןזא – the buried seeds return to the Aleph and are weighed / balanced / revealed in the spring harvest
Thus the ear seeks to hear of the thing which will be revealed in due time.
That is the secret built into the very letters:
Every scattering (אזן) is only half the word.
The other half is the great future revealing (מֹאזְנַיִם) when the Aleph lifts every hidden seed into daylight and says,
“Here they are.
Not one is missing.”The field looks empty after sowing.
But the Aleph is still holding the other end of the string.The revealing is not in the flinging.
The revealing is in the weighing, when the scales finally tip and the buried seeds stand up alive.
Revelation is not in the scattering
